The project Funkvergnuegen started in 2003 when the notorious crate diggers Marc Hype (former ITF DJ Champion) and Katmando (founder of the Juice Magazine) came up with the idea to mix just old german music live on their shows. The discoveries went from old MPS jazz to Krautrock rarities to obscure cover funkversions and catched a very own fan crowd. The Funkvergnuegen Promo Mix CDs, Volume 1 + 2, are most sought after in germany and beyond. In 2008 the third issue of the series is highly awaited by the followers of this unique trend
